Project Description:

This was a project for my Foundation Studio class. The objective was to build a car out of wood that would have functional wheels and could roll down a ramp. We had to use machines such as a band saw, scroll saw, drill press, and different types of sanders.

I chose to build a Volkswagen bus. The car measures 18.5in long, 8in wide, and 11.5in tall (including wheels and surfboards) and is to scale of a real VW bus. I also hand painted it with acrylic paint.
